OpenMP workshop scheduled for January 12

December 28, 2020

XSEDE and the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center will conduct a one-day virtual workshop on the OpenMP programming platform starting at 9 a.m. MST on Tuesday, January 12. The workshop is intended to give C and Fortran programmers a hands-on introduction to OpenMP programming. Attendees will leave with a working knowledge of how to write scalable codes using OpenMP. The workshop will be remote, using Zoom.

OpenMP is an application programming interface (API), jointly defined by a group of major computer hardware and software vendors. It provides a portable, scalable model for developers of shared-memory parallel applications. The API supports C/C++ and Fortran on a wide variety of architectures.
