NOAA postdoc fellowship program accepting applications

October 29, 2020

NOAA’s Climate and Global Change (C&GC) Postdoctoral Fellowship program is accepting applications for 2021. Each appointed fellow is hosted by a mentoring scientist at a U.S. university or research institution to work in an area of mutual interest. C&GC fellows focus on observing, understanding, modeling, and predicting climate variability and change on seasonal and longer time scales. This includes the documentation and analysis of past, current, or possible future climate variability and change as well as the study of underlying physical, chemical, and biological processes.

C&GC fellows are UCAR employees and receive a fixed annual salary, plus benefits and allowances for relocation, travel, and publications. The application deadline is January 8, 2021, and appointments will be announced by April 1. See the program overview for additional information.
